1993 Oilers- Politics and Tragedy Ruin a Franchise

 

The 1993 Oilers were an example of how politics can ruin any relationship or organization, athletic or not. From an egotistical Defensive coordinator to a terrible drunk-driving tragedy, the franchise was a mess. Suddenly, winning games was the last thing on everyone’s mind. The season ended disappointingly, ending the Oilers’ stay in Houston in the most disastrous way possible.
