The scammer’s name was Mills and this wasn’t his first time scamming people out of their hard earned money. Mills stole $240,000 from their homeowner’s construction loan and moved into his personal accounts and spent the money on bills, entertainment, and cash withdrawals. But additional cases have shown that he’s been sued multiple times. The most recent was $415,000. How do you protectyourself? By verification and doing your homework BEFORE you hire anyone. Case in point, Mills isn’t a license architect.
