The reality is that the chances of you or me becoming president are slim, and the belief that anyone can achieve this is a myth.

With only two major parties, a college degree is often necessary to reach the Oval Office. Most presidents have come from Ivy League schools. This elitism challenges the idea that the “average Joe or Jane” can realistically aspire to run the country.
