Kristen Griffin Inspires Calm, Confidence, and Joy

Betsy Wurzel warmly welcomes back Kristen Griffin to Chatting with Betsy for another uplifting and heartfelt conversation. Kristen first joined the show in July 2025, sharing her mission to spread happiness through Happy Happy Everything, Inc., which she founded in 2016 to inspire children and bring smiles around the world.

This time, Kristen introduces her newest creation — Calm Clouds, soft and colorful comfort toys designed to promote peace and relaxation. Betsy shares how much she enjoys using her Calm Clouds and how soothing they can be for easing agitation. Kristen also suggests adding an aromatherapy scent to enhance the calming effect. These comforting toys are safe for children ages three and up, though caregivers should avoid giving them to adults with dementia who may place objects in their mouths.

The conversation also highlights Kristen’s uplifting children’s music, which Betsy feels brings joy to listeners of all ages. Kristen is the author of Happy Clouds: Positive Affirmations for Kids, featuring twelve affirmations that help children feel loved, valued, and confident. Betsy reflects that she wishes she’d had this book during her own childhood, believing its positive messages could have made a meaningful difference. Together, they emphasize that children who feel secure and confident are better equipped to thrive in school and in life.

Betsy highly recommends Happy Clouds for preschool through second grade classrooms and any setting that nurtures children — from schools to hospitals and community clubs. She and Kristen also discuss the book’s beautiful illustrations by Giorgia Isacchi and Kristen’s other creative works, including the Happy Clouds Coloring Book and Happy Words: 72 Words for Kids to Read.

Kristen and Betsy share exciting news about her next project — a new book for ages 10–13 featuring 80 inspiring quotes, scheduled for release in early 2026. Beyond her writing, Kristen continues to give back by donating her books to hospitals and non-profit organizations, spreading comfort and encouragement to children and families around the world.
