A recent scandal involving US Soccer reminds me of the mistreatment of refs and coaches at youth sports events. These games are now an excuse for lousy behavior by parents and coaches.
Maybe it’s time for even big Baseball cities like New York and St. Louis to throw in the towel on the sport after all!
