All days are typical or so you think.
When Life throws you a curve, what do you do?
Besides the usual behavior that one finds the streets of America.
Grocery cart rage.
Standing in line rage.
Hitting, punching, shoving, screaming. It’s all in there. That rage.
The anger you feel inside and outside when life throws you a curve. What do you do?
Stick out your tongue?
Stop the world and get off. Get off where. It takes three years of constant sleeping to get to Mars. The Moon is closer, but what are you going to do when you get there.
You must realize that whatever problems beset you in one place will follow you to the next place until you get that particular set of problems solved.
If solving problems were easy, why is the majority of the world still struggling to solve them? Why is it when life throws you a curve, that we as humans don’t do well at solving them.
We can stare at them, hiss at them, ignore them, but the problem remains until we take it upon ourselves to do something about them. Anything to get it solved and out of the way so we can go back to our personal lives.
Let’s think about it. If we all took an active approach…use an active solution…we might solve some of the problems or curves that keep threatening our existence.
What do we do when life throws us a curve?
We could think about the possible solutions that might work.
We could go around the curve. Under the curve. Fly over the curve, but the curve will still remain blocking us from getting done what needs doing…need accomplishing.
Our only solution is to find the answer to our particular curve. It can’t be any answer. The wrong answer might make it worse. It might delay the outcome. It might backfire.
The solution we need to find is the one that works and solve the curve that was thrown at us.
We must find a way to match that curve so that it won’t keep repeating itself. Some curves are like that. We spend a lifetime re-inventing that curve every time it crosses our path.
We must conquer that curve so that it doesn’t come back to haunt us. To solve a problem, we must figure out what makes that curve happen in the first place. Once we figure that out, only then can we create an answer to that curve so it won’t come back again.
There will be other curves, however, we’ll be in a position to solve it at once so that curve won’t throw us off balance.
That’s what we want. We know Life’s Curves will always be out there seeking to derail us, slow us down, keep us from doing what we’re meant to do. However, I know that if we remain prepared and vigilant Life’s Curves won’t throw us off for a long period of time.
We will vanquish that Curve at the beginning of its cycle and release us to continue our path of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness to the end of our days!
Until next time… .
