“In a society that seems to think that some of its citizens are less than due to the color of their skin or where they are from, it can be difficult for kids to realize that what makes them different also makes them special. Our differences are what make us a great society. It is what leads us to inspire others and to make a lasting and positive impact on the world we all share.”

Today’s interview is with Pat Bishop who co-wrote the book with Michelle Ranjo Bishop and Little Sami, A Class Divided. A book about racism. Kids Empathy Book Series.

This is a family-written book along with Pat’s wife, Michelle, and daughter, Summer. Pat Bishop and I discuss how important it is to teach children not to discriminate against others. If children are taught young to accept others this world would be a better place! Betsy feels this book should be in every Preschool and Elementary school!
