Adapting to the hybrid work model

Lynda Gratton has many accomplishments. She has written several books, is a TEDx speaker, a Professor of Management Practice at London Business School, and the Founder of the Global Research Advisory Practice HSM.

 

Lynda Gratton discusses why she wrote the book. She shares how the modern-day office work module was based on how factories worked. The pandemic further changed the work module. She discusses how a happy employee is a productive employee, and how hybrid work can be beneficial to the employee and employer! One obstacle that needs to be addressed is accountability for remote workers.

 

Betsy and Lynda discussed how “baby boomers” can benefit from hybrid work especially if they are caregivers. They also discussed how hybrid work is beneficial to parents because they could care for a sick child or help them enjoy a snow day.
