In this episode, Dan Riley shares his perspective on Living with Autism and how public perception often misses the everyday reality many people on the spectrum face.
Some athletes live with autism, but that doesn’t mean everyone on the spectrum gets the same chances in life. Many struggle quietly, trying to find their place and purpose while facing daily challenges others don’t see.
Too often, we focus on the rare success stories—like the movie Rain Man—and forget that most autistic people aren’t living out movie scripts. They need understanding, inclusion, and real opportunities to build meaningful lives.
There’s also been talk linking Tylenol to autism, but those claims haven’t been proven true. It’s important to separate rumors from facts and focus on the real needs of people and families affected by autism.
