Betsy Wurzel Advocate for Caregivers with loved ones with diagnosis of Dementia or Alzheimers. Betsy talks about how her family celebrated New Year’s Eve. Betsy and Matt watched the celebration of the festivity on television. They watched the count down of the Ball dropping in Time Square. For their celebration, Betsy and Matt danced to the music of “auld lang syne”. What Betsy is learning is to try to live in the moment. The moment for her was dancing with her husband Matt this New Year’s Eve. The Moment was Happy and Sad at the same time. Not always easy to live in the moment when there so many issues happening in your life. Betsy will remember this New Year’s for just a moment all felt very Happy and Normal.
