10.22.19  Cool Your Heels with Lillian Cauldwell interviewed James Dublin, “Recording Hollywood.” A book about his Grandfather’s legacy about establishing a store outside of Hollywood and selling records. During the 40’s, Blacks weren’t allowed in Hollywood, so Mr. Dublin’s grandfather set up his music store in Los Angles drawing whites, blacks, Hispanics, Hollywood celebrities, and the Japanese to his store to listen to all the music circulating around the U.S. during the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.
