Steve is on the Board of Directors of the 306th Bomb Group Association and 8th Airforce Historical Society and Steve Snyder is the Author and Speaker of “Shot Down”. The book “Shot Down” is the true story of Howard Snyder and the crew of the B-17 Susan Ruth.

Steve Snyder discusses why he wrote the book and what his father, Howard Snyder went through after his plane was shot down by the Germans! The plane is named after Susan Ruth who is Howard Snyder’s daughter and Howard Snyder was a War Hero!
