The novel also introduces Wolf James, a New York City detective, and an Eastern European oligarch known only as “X,” who is hunting Haddy after she makes a critical shot in the mountains of Yemen. Dr. Farmer discusses how Haddy and Wolf James cross paths while mountain climbing, their instant connection, and Haddy’s relentless quest to uncover her father’s killer—who is now coming for her. With action, espionage, and intertwining subplots, the story delivers a gripping, suspenseful experience.

The rights to Blood Sapphire’s Revenge have been acquired by a streaming service, with plans for a multi-season television series. Dr. Farmer also shares that the sequel, Blood Sapphire’s Fury, is currently in the publishing process.
