Finding Your Holy Grail helps people navigate the post-pandemic reality we now find ourselves in.

The show has been taking a deep dive into key themes on living fearlessly in the post-pandemic world. In this episode, Dr. Mandy Simon and Dr. Gordon MacMillan, the show’s co-creator, Reflect Upon How How Our Perspectives Shape Our Lives.

The show’s hosts explore how we interpret the events that we experience as we go through life. What do we think they are telling us about who we are?  and crucially – what are the stories that we make up about them?

The topic is important is because the narrative that we tell ourselves starts to shape the future that we experience.  Our mindset shifts to a more powerful perspective when we believe that we have chosen every event that has happened in our life. Especially, if we chose for them to happen because there were important lessons that we needed to learn.

The Show’s Call to Action is for listeners at home to:

  1. Recall a significant event that happened in your life. Describe it here. Something you are responsible for creating that you once thought “happened to you”.
  1. What was the story that you told yourself about this event? How might that narrative have shaped the trajectory of your life since then?
  1. Now consider that the event was something that you chose to happen in your life – how does that perspective change your perception of who you are?
  1. List the lessons that you learned from that event – what were the gifts that you chose for your life, as a result of living that experience?
