It is a new year and when we can take our masks off, we want everyone to have a beautiful smile! So, on today’s podcast, we are going to discuss what you need to know before making your first dental appointment of the year and how to keep your pearly whites clean and healthy.
Our guest this week is Michelle Taylor, an Office Manager at Surf City Dentist in Huntington Beach, California. Michelle has been in dentistry for almost 18 years and has been committed to making smiles happen. She has experience in both front and back office. Her dentistry career began chairside with her doctor and eventually assuming the ever-challenging role with the front office administration. Michelle has been working with Surf City Dentist for 17 years and with her current position as office manager for the last 3 1/2 years. Each encounter with a patient, a team member, or a doctor provides another opportunity to attempt to respond successfully to the matter presented to her.
She credits her association with AADOM (American Association of Dental Office Management) where she has found support from an amazing tribe and wisdom to further fulfill her role to be the best office manager she can be. She had received her Fellowship through AADOM and is now working on her master’s program. With an emphasis on “Let’s see how we can make that happen,” Michelle believes that almost any day is a good day. And a little wine after a little whining does not hurt, either.
