I will post one posting for each of the six individuals that spoke to Sheila Wilson Host of Stop Health Care Violence, at the strike site.
Sheila Wilson is speaking to Christine Ayers, RN that has been doing the strike walk for quite some time. Christine mentioned how she misses her patients, but engaging with the others on the strike has her knowing she has taken a stand not only for herself but for all the other Nurses. Christine said even though I just said I miss my patients, I won’t go back to work until it is Safer for the Patients.
You could feel the Solidarity among all the individuals that were participating in this strike and also when the drivers passing by would honk their car horns. It truly was so amazing to see the support for these Nurses.
