Betsy Wurzel and Dr. Kimberly Fraser discussed her mom’s experience with caregiving and her own experiences with caregiving for her husband who had Prostate Cancer.
They also discussed the many challenges of caregiving. Some of the challenges in finding the balance to be a caregiver, self-care, and getting information about local resources are just a few of what a caregiver needs are.
Dr. Kimberly Fraser  said, “Self-Compassion is part  of self-care” and “Education  and information are so empowering.”
Betsy gave this book to a new  Caregiver who found the information very helpful! The book helped her through the confusing process of being a caregiver.
