Sheila Wilson’s guest Liz Dalton R.N.BSN has worked many years as a nurse. She was assaulted in 2015 and to this day is having depression and PTSD. The assault happened in the patient’s room. Security was called. The police came in to evaluate and take the information on the issue. Supervisors were there. Liz told everyone about the incident when she could finally speak.
What happened after? Were the supervisors and colleagues supportive? Did the police file a report? Did security file a report? Did the person that assaulted Liz get arrested or go to Jail? Violence in hospitals is shocking. What is being done about this?
