Ralph provides assistance with dressing, eating, take to Doctor appointments are just a few examples of helping special needs individuals. If you need any help, I suggest you contact Ralph Lake.
Ralph also talks about his role in being a caregiver for his mother, his sister and as a professional caregiver. Ralph talks about being in the moment with care for your loved one. Also, Betsy and Ralph talk about the process of being a Male Caregiver and how isolated they may feel.
How does it feel to be a male caregiver? It may be very isolating for men as there are more women caregivers. Who do you talk to? Perhaps this would be a good opportunity to contact Ralph and discuss being a male caregiver and perhaps create a male support group. Also, Ralph is bringing more information to the African American Community on Dementia/Alzheimers. Ralph has a wealth experience to share with many of you.

For the families or friends of the caregiver, here is a suggestion. Why don’t you give some of your free time for the caregiver to have a day to themselves? Let me know what you will do to help a family caregiver.
