Cookie D. Hines joins me for Interview on Hospice Care and Death that no one wants to talk about.  It is an issue that really needs to be spoken about.  Cookie talks about how and why Hospice will be called in to help.  There are some requirements that Cookie will speak about for Hospice. In the course of the Interview Cookie speaks about training to be a Death Doula.  A death doula helps the person in the end of life.  Also helping the family cope with a loved one in this final important part of life.  It is not easy to even to think about it but at some some point you really will have to. When a loved one is passing it is so sad, you really want to keep them with you but you cannot stop the process of death.

These are my thoughts on when a loved one has passed.  I had difficult times when I lost loved ones and special friends.  Do I miss them “YES” when I think of them and I would say a prayer for them. I have wonderful memories of my loved ones that have passed. I think of my father at Easter when he would make the palms into a basket to pin on my Easter coat. I have many memories and you will have many memories of your loved ones and smile when they pop into your head. It may not happen right away but there will be a day when you will smile.
