In an era of concussions, money at stake, and the like, colleges need to pay football players for their work. Schools make millions more than they used to, and no parent would tolerate their kid being exploited like this, scholarship or no.
For college football to survive, it has to stop operating like a sweatshop. It’s the ethical thing to do. Now, if other states are worried about their schools losing recruits, let them pass similar laws.
